Another adventure unfolds. The forest shares its secrets once more. The birds chorus in joyous unison. The squirrels scurry about once more. Nature has sprung back to life, and the Scented Summit has risen.


Welcome to The Scented Summit! I have always wanted to blog again, ever since I decided to discontinue Musings of a Fraghead, I have been yearning to just sit down and write again.

I ultimately decided to launch my own site, as the Musings of a Fraghead blog was on Blogspot, and quite frankly, their system is antiquated at best. I wanted more control over my content, and this platform makes that easier…at least once I learn how to use it, so please be patient as I do.

The fragrance world is full of influencers and very few reviewers, in my opinion. There is nothing wrong with being an influencer, but they are there to push a scent. That’s not my goal. My aim is to invoke emotion, bring about memories, and transport you to a happily scented place of respite amongst the toils of this world.

Why The Scented Summit? Well, it has a dual meaning. It has to do with my love of nature and mountains. After all, I was born near the White Mountains in New Hampshire. If you have read my previous work, you know that nature is a huge inspiration for me. However, not all of my posts will be on perfumes inspired by nature.

Secondly, it has to do with the summit, or the peak of perfumery. The top tier of scents that create memories and make you feel as though you could scale Everest.

I am excited for this adventure to begin, and I can’t wait to start posting again.
